Where to find payload capacity
Use the Tire and Loading Information label on the driver’s door jamb. It usually states the maximum combined weight of occupants and cargo for that specific vehicle.
What counts against payload?
Driver, passengers, cargo, aftermarket accessories, items in the bed or cabin, hitch hardware, and the trailer’s actual tongue weight all count. This calculator does not replace axle, tire, receiver, tow-rating, or GCWR checks.
